For my media project, I have chosen to create the promotional film package. This will include the movie trailer; poster and magazine cover for the movie.
I chose this package because I took media studies last year as an AS and completed a magazine cover in my work so I thought that would benefit me when creating the magazine in this project.
Genre
Comedy Drama films are also known as Dramedies. The trailers that I will be looking into and analyzing will all support the choice of my genre. This genre combines humour and serious content in order to target the right audience. The first time dramedy was used was back in 1978 and since then has been used in movies and television programmes.
